EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

We are totally committed to the Equal Opportunities Policy. we encourage staff, parents and children  to embrace it  fully as we all should take responsibility for its overall effectiveness.

All forms of  discrimination, be it  racial, colour, ethnic or national origin, gender, physical, sensory or mental disability will be challenged. In addition to that, our compliance officer will document any racial issues.  Accordingly we are strongly committed to positive action to remove and/or counter discrimination in all aspects of our work with children, families, the disabled and others.

BEHAVIOUR / DISCIPLINE

Children must behave responsibly, be courteous to each other and to staff.  Discipline will be in the form of encouragement and understanding.  Should more serious action be required the child will be sat on a chair away from the rest of the children until he/she has calmed down.

 Incidents of bad behaviour will be recorded and parents/guardians advised.  Membership may be discontinued in the event repeated occurrences, usually three incidents.  Serious cases  will result in immediate termination of membership.

The following behaviours are unacceptable:

  • Aggressive behaviour towards other children or staff.

  • Discrimination.

  • Leaving the premises

  • Verbal or Physical Bullying.
     

  ATTENDANCE:

If a child is unable to attend, you must let us know well in advance.  It might help us support you if we know the reason as well.  

SECURITY

We would not allow a child to be collected by a person not enrolled in the child's form to do so, unless previously informed in writing by the parent/guardian of the child. 

PARENTS' COMPLAINTS

If you feel we are non-compliant in any way, please tell us in writing, and if necessary, call for a meeting by contacting our administrative department.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We at IBA are totally committed to the health and safety regulation. IBA will create a safe and healthy environment for children, employees and all others. All service users are required  to conduct themselves in such a manner that will ensure the health and safely of themselves and others.

CHILD PROTECTION

We are totally committed to the Children Act 1989.
